Ask
Type a question or tap the microphone to speak. The phone's listening tool turns your speech into text.
How it works
VIDYA Copilot uses AI saved on an Android phone to answer questions about school topics. The app itself cannot connect to the internet.
Process
Type a question or tap the microphone to speak. The phone's listening tool turns your speech into text.
The AI writes a reply on the phone using what it has learned. It does not look in your textbook.
If spoken replies are turned on, the phone reads the response aloud as it becomes available.
Check important facts against your textbooks and teaching notes before using the reply.
Internet and voice
The app writes answers on the phone. To hear your spoken question or read a reply aloud, it uses the phone's separate listening and speaking tools.
To use voice without internet, the phone needs the right language files. Try it with internet turned off before depending on it.
We plan to add the app's own tools for listening and speaking without internet. They are not included yet.
No internet permission.
May use internet. Own privacy settings.
Speed
In one reported test, with the app already ready, it began speaking about 434 milliseconds after the question was sent, less than half a second. This did not include the time taken to listen to the question.
The newer AI version was also tested on an OPPO phone. These tests do not promise that every reply on every phone will start within a second.
Conversation design
Each question is treated as a new one. Add all the details needed for that question. Do not assume the app remembers an earlier reply.
Next step
Tell us your classes, subjects, preferred language and Android phone model. We can start by checking whether it suits your needs.
Opens your email app. Review the message before sending. Sending a message does not mean you will get the app immediately or by a fixed date.
